20 Buck Spin today announces a poisonous union with a longstanding favorite Death Metal band of the label, namely Vasaeleth. Having recently spewed forth “All Uproarious Darkness” via CD on Profound Lore, the vinyl edition is set to release as the cold winter nears in November. Naturally the release will prominently feature the haunted visions of Antichrist Kramer throughout and both a limited color version and standard black edition are in the works.
Additionally Vasaeleth’s out of print debut LP, originally issued on vinyl via Sweden’s Blood Harvest Records will be repressed and made available again via 20 Buck Spin. The edition will be nearly identical to the original in terms of layout and artwork. A limited colored vinyl edition and black vinyl will both be made available. ‘Cryptborn…’ will be available in November concurrently with ‘All Uproarious Darkness’.

MSN Metal blog also talked to Kodex Guitarist and Folklore Professor Manuel Trummer about the songs lyrical content.
Additonally the band made a video for “Sol Invictus”, edited to a shorter 6 minutes, which can be seen below.
“The White Goddess” will be released in North America on 20 Buck Spin on October 1st on CD / Digital with a 2xLP to follow soon after.
Today Pitchfork posted a song from the upcoming Oranssi Pazuzu LP ‘Valonielu’ to be released via 20 Buck Spin in North America and Svart Records in Europe. The track “Olen Aukaissut Uuden Silmän (I Have Opened A New Eye)” is the 5th song on the 6 song LP. Full track list, cover art, band photo and press release below:
Valonielu Track Listing:
1. Vino Verso
2. Tyhjä Tempelli
4. Reikä Maisemassa
5. Olen Aukaissut Uuden Silmän
6. Ympyrä On Viiva Tomussa
As the blindingly innovative Valonielu — the sophomore LP from Finland’s cult cosmic black metal experimentalists ORANSSI PAZUZU – nears split release on 20 Buck Spin in North America and Svart in Europe in mid-October, today Pitchfork unveils the first single from the album.
With ethereal elements infiltrating a stabbing, frigid blackened stomp, the opening elements of Valonielu’s fifth track, “Olen Aukaissut Uuden Silmän (I Have Opened A New Eye),” is the perfect introductory sampling of the celestial expansiveness of the boundless ORANSSI PAZUZU’s utterly creepy delivery. Possibly the most straightforward of the six expansive songs on the album, while jagged blasts and blitzkrieg attacks appear intermittently, the majority of the track’s crushing mid-paced thunder runs rampant with a frigid, unwavering destructive trajectory. Along with the song, the cover artwork for Valonielu, crafted by Costin Chioreanu / Twilight 13 Media has also been released for the first time.
Valonielu will be released on both CD and LP via 20 Buck Spin in North America on October 15th preceded by the European release via Svart Records on October 11th. Until now a known entity to only the most attentive and adventurous of black metal fans, ORANSSI PAZUZU has sharpened their songcraft into a more succinct and salient statement, formidably invoking ‘90s era Darkthrone, yet boldly reaching farther out into the multiverse of the psych and ExperiMental side they have always inhabited. Valonielu offers a vibrant, colorful cataclysm of psych, space rock and black metal that cannot be easily categorized as any one particular genre or any single influence.
20 Buck Spin is extremely excited and honored to announce a collaboration with incredible Finnish band Orannsi Pazuzu. Read the official press release below:
Svart Records and 20 Buck Spin today announce the joint release of Valonielu, the stunningly original new LP from Finland’s ORANSSI PAZUZU. A known entity to the most attentive and adventurous of black metal fans, Valonielu offers a vibrant, colorful cataclysm of psych, space rock and black metal that cannot be easily categorized as any one particular genre or any single influence. At once celestial and boundless yet malevolent grim and harsh, Valonielu is certain to bring ORANSSI PAZUZU to new levels of importance within the modern music scene.
ORANSSI PAZUZU’s previous album Kosmonument was received with great critical acclaim as a brilliant album by a band developing into something all their own. On Valonielu the band has sharpened their songcraft into a more succinct and salient statement, formidably invoking ‘90s era Darkthrone, yet boldly reaching farther out into the multiverse of the psych and ExperiMental side they have always inhabited. From the beginning chainsaw riff of album opener “Vino Verso” (“Askew Sprout”) to the climactic, world downfall of final track “Ympyra On Viiva Tomussa” (“A Circle Is A Line In The Dust”), O.P. masterfully establish a cosmology all their own.
Having found a new home on Svart Records in Europe and 20 Buck Spin in North America,ORANSSI PAZUZU breathe ascendant new life into an often stagnant present day black metal scene. Valonielu will be released on both the LP & CD formats, by both labels, with release dates of October 11th in Europe and October 15th in North America respectively. Live show announcements and more album news will follow in the coming months.
